This week’s Workout of the Week features Energize Flow, an Energize Flow workout preview from our Fluid Motion program. This short, full-body movement experience helps you build strength, improve mobility, and reconnect with your body through purposeful, flowing movement. Rather than leaving you completely exhausted, this preview demonstrates how movement itself can become a source of energy.
Have you ever noticed how easy it is to tell yourself you’ll exercise once you have more energy?
It’s a thought almost all of us have had. After a busy workday, a restless night’s sleep, or a long list of responsibilities, waiting until you “feel like it” seems perfectly reasonable. The challenge is that energy often doesn’t arrive first. More often, movement creates it.
That doesn’t mean every workout needs to be intense or leave you breathless. Sometimes a thoughtful, well-paced workout is exactly what helps your body wake up, your mind clear, and your motivation return. That simple idea sits at the heart of this week’s Workout of the Week.
Energize Flow Shows How Movement Builds Momentum
Many people think energy is something we either have or don’t have. In reality, our bodies often respond differently. When we begin moving, blood flow increases, muscles become more active, joints loosen, and breathing naturally becomes deeper and more rhythmic. What started as “I don’t really feel like exercising today” often becomes “I’m glad I did.”
That’s one of the reasons I appreciate Energize Flow. The workout doesn’t ask you to force your way through exhaustion. Instead, it invites you to begin moving, trust the process, and allow your body to gradually warm up as the sequence unfolds.
Sometimes the hardest part of a workout is simply pressing play.
What to Expect in This Energize Flow Preview
This week’s preview introduces one of the guided workouts from Fluid Motion, a six-week yoga-inspired strength program that combines strength, balance, mobility, flexibility, and flowing movement to help you feel stronger and move more freely. Throughout the program, Coach Ro guides every session while encouraging you to focus on control rather than perfection. The workouts repeat over six weeks, giving your body time to learn the movements, build confidence, and notice meaningful progress.
Energize Flow builds gradually through a sequence of controlled, flowing movements that warm the body from the inside out. As the workout progresses, you’ll notice your muscles becoming more engaged, your movements becoming smoother, and your confidence growing with each round. The goal isn’t simply to finish the workout—it’s to experience how movement itself can change the way you feel.
Workout Length: Approximately 5 minutes (preview)

Why This Energize Flow Workout Feels Different
One of the themes you’ll notice throughout Fluid Motion is that progress doesn’t come from dramatic changes. It comes from showing up consistently.
The program intentionally repeats workouts over six weeks because repetition gives your body time to learn the movements, improve balance, build strength, increase mobility, and notice progress that might otherwise go unnoticed. Some days you’ll feel strong and energized. Other days, simply taking time to move is enough. Both are valuable parts of the process.
That philosophy extends beyond this workout. Energy isn’t something you earn after a perfect week—it’s something you begin creating every time you choose to move.
A Preview of Fluid Motion
Energize Flow is one of six guided workouts included in Fluid Motion, where each session builds upon the last to create a balanced progression of strength, mobility, stability, and confidence. The program begins by establishing a strong foundation, then gradually helps you move more freely, build control, increase energy, and ultimately bring everything together through purposeful movement.
One of my favorite aspects of the program is that it never asks you to move perfectly. Instead, it encourages you to stay curious and pay attention to the small improvements. Notice when your balance feels steadier, when transitions become smoother, or when your body simply feels better than it did a few weeks ago. Those quiet changes are often the ones that last.
This Week’s Challenge
As you move through Energize Flow, don’t think about how much energy you have before you begin.
Instead, notice how you feel after a few minutes of moving.
Has your breathing changed? Do your muscles feel warmer? Does your mind feel a little clearer? Has your body become a little more willing to move?
Sometimes we spend so much time waiting to feel motivated that we forget motivation often follows action—not the other way around.
🔎 What Research Says
The Mayo Clinic explains that regular physical activity can increase energy levels, improve mood, and support overall health. Even moderate movement can help reduce fatigue and improve the way you feel throughout the day.
